How We Got Started
As a photographer for 7 years, owner Deb Snyder had a clear vision on how weddings should be captured through a camera lens. Then when a friend took her to a wedding showcase in January of 2012, she was inspired to operate her own wedding venue. When she came home to Lakeview Farm, she was quickly determined to transfer the current barn into an elegant wedding venue. Just 5 short months later, Lakeview Farms Events was up and running as the 1st barn wedding venue in York County. In love with the farm, her daughter, Lacey, dreamed of the idea of having her wedding held in her family's barn. Then in 2013, an expansion of the barn meant her wedding day could be possible. Ever since, Lakeview Farms Events has been transformed into a rustic, but elegant, top wedding venue in South Central Pennsylvania, attracting couples from all over the country.
